Review on πŸ–₯️ Asus ROG Strix Helios GX601 RGB Mid-Tower Computer Case - USB 3.1, EATX Support, Smoked Tempered Glass, Brushed Aluminum, Steel Construction, 4 Fans by Chris Laznovsky

Stylish, functional, heavy, but there are a few little things.

Helios is a nice case, I'm not sure if it's worth the $300 price tag but I wanted to come with all the ROG stuff so I decided to get one to take risks. Complaints about Aurasync aside, this case has its own RGB controls and isn't recognized by Aurasync at all, which is surprising, but I was able to work with it. (So if you're worried about your case being Aura Sync-compatible, don't worry.) Neither the Rog Strix case, motherboard, or graphics card came with a PCI-E adapter cable, and for a great deal expensive construction, that's to be expected. . ASUS, you REALLY need to fix this in future iterations, this is absurd. The Maximus Hero board was also missing two USB 3.0 headers, and neither came with a USB 3-to-2 header adapter. So if you need 4 front ports in your $300 case to work, you might want to buy an adapter. However, disappointing such expensive products is not a decisive factor. Great cable management features and looks pretty darn clean, the carry strap is a nice touch too but I suppose it gets awkward if you leave it on the car so stow it if you're pretty darn heavy, although my final build weighed in at around 70 . 75 pounds. And that's with just a GPU and two mechanical drives (and a few lightweight SSDs). Oh, make sure you also buy the optional lighting kit if like all displays you want the full RGB effect. Aura Sync is a major pain in the neck to work with, for such an expensive line of products it has to have better software. Expect lots of reboots and manual tweaks/weird driver issues and reinstalls while operating for hours. After fixing everything, although I'm very happy with my ROG Strix build, the tests are incredible, please just fix the nitpicks in future versions.
