I got this because my knees hurt and I avoid getting on my hands and knees to rub or brush at all costs. This long handled bathtub/tile cleaning brush does the job well and keeps me going while I work! The handle section extends from 43 to 52 inches due to the lengthening of the last section of the three piece handle. It is made of aluminum with screw-in plastic connections. It comes with a brush and cleaning pad that can be swapped out by unscrewing one and unscrewing the other. I used it and it worked fine. I was able to scrub and clean the tub/shower standing up and the unit seemed pretty solid even when I was fed up with particularly stubborn dirt/hard water stains. The only thing I would like to remind people is that this is aluminum and probably not commercially viable as aluminum can warp with constant use. For the household, it should be a good and durable product.
