Smooth, easy to wash off, rich pigmentation and translucency for easy application without loss of watercolor transparency. Also the easy access to color is wonderful. Barely touching the pigment you will see a fully saturated color. I haven't tried some of the competing professional watercolors: WN or DS. But I've worked with makeup and some others, just a little lower. The pigment, transparency, washability and color palette inspire me to work at an amateur and semi-professional level. Face paint was often too weak in non-traditional pigments and sometimes drowned out and over-pigmented compared to darker reds.
