The default position of this switch is OFF.

If you have a magnetic door and you want to get out, you need to turn off the power for a moment. This switch connects power when pressed, it does not turn it off. It may work with a 3rd party relay but will not work directly with a magnetic lock as shown in seller's diagram in photos. It's just a simple button that doesn't work until it's pressed.
