It's portable and loud enough to listen to music in a small area.
This isn't a masterpiece speaker, but it serves the main purpose of playing tunes on the go. It cut off abruptly a couple of times while only inches from the music source, which is frustrating but rare. There's little bass, but I wasn't expecting much. For the price, it's worth having as a portable backup speaker at work or on a hike.
