Colors are not bad but not great. Because they were painted with really good colors, they are not up to class. The choice of colors compensates for this somewhat. Depending on what you want to draw, they may be suitable. I'm working on painting the cobblestones for a fancy sidewalk, so my main background is painted a different color. They are suitable for little things like dragonflies, butterflies and ladybugs.
