I love this hot brush because I can style my hair in 5 minutes instead of 15-20 minutes with a flat iron. Such a time saver in the morning! I've tried other cheap hot brushes and was disappointed when the ceramic coating on the bristles came off after a few months of use. The Chi brand has a reputation for durability and good quality; although that means paying more for the product. Pros: Easy to use (great for young girls or people with arthritis) Straightens hair in half the time or less than a hair straightener Glides through hair No temperature settings; You can get the exact heating temperature. Cons: More expensive (although it lasts a lot longer) Difficult to clean bristles Bulky for packaging and travel Doesn't come with a silicone mat Can't fully straighten hair as close to three scalps as a flat iron.
