Bought this for my son who recently became a teenage driver. I wanted him to be able to see his GPS without holding the phone and looking at the cup holder. It doesn't actually stick to his dashboard, but remains on the windshield. It holds his phone tight, doesn't let him take his eyes off the road for too long, and does what we need to do.
