Background: I originally installed Mr Beams in front of my house because I didn't want to turn on a flashlight or porch lights just to open the door, but Mr Beams has a design flaw. that when the battery is at 40%, the light keeps turning on and off even when there is no movement. I used up so many batteries with this stupid device that I decided to buy this lightbulb. This works very well. The temperature is warm yellow and is in my interior light. It is sensitive enough to be triggered by the lamp's attachment if it passes approximately 8 feet inside the lamp. I've attached a video so you can see how close I have to get to turn on the light. However, when Mr. Beams runs out of batteries, I will use this bulb exclusively! Mr. Beams is no longer needed! Pros: - fits in a standard incandescent bulb socket - warm amber light - works when in an enclosed fixture - easy to install - LED so will likely last a long time Cons: - initially it was too sensitive and was able to run away from my house through that windows, but now it works fine
