Sakura Micron is the benchmark by which fineline art markers are measured, and with good reason. The quality of Sakura is very high and absolutely stable. My black 10 micron marker is exactly the same as my first one. They have a lot of ink and last a long time. The nibs can take a lot of abuse compared to similar markers, although they can be crushed this is not for young children unless they are very careful with their tools. It is important to note that the "05" mark does not mean that it is a . 5mm; 05 is actually 0.45mm so always check the quoted line gauge in millimeters with the Sakura Micron as their serial number, although going from small to large, is not meant to reflect actual line gauge in millimeters.
