In use for years

Many Micron pens run out of ink within a short time. These pens are worth the money. Keep the lid closed when not in use and when mixing media, be careful not to damage the pen. with something like paint. no crevices, flows smoothly and the width is constant. have been buying for years

Ideal for faux calligraphy, zentangling and fineline art markers

Sakura Micron is the benchmark by which fineline art markers are measured, and with good reason. The quality of Sakura is very high and absolutely stable. My black 10 micron marker is exactly the same as my first one. They have a lot of ink and last a long time. The nibs can take a lot of abuse compared to similar markers, although they can be crushed this is not for young children unless they are very careful with their tools. It is important to note that the "05" mark does not mean that it is

An hour later, when I went to put the photos into the acid-free sleeves, the back of one of them was smeared with ink. Then after a few hours I checked the rest and just touched my signature and the ink was all over it. I've never seen that in a pen. Prints costing more than a few thousand dollars were worthless and had to be reprinted. I was…

It's not a 0.5mm pen, it's a 0.45mm pen

Micron is a great pen so I can't give it less than 5 stars but be aware the size description of this pen is wrong. I need 0.5mm pens (size 8) for some drawing lessons. The pin pictured is a size 5 but the description says it is a 0.5mm pin so I trusted the description not the photo. If you need 0.5mm, take 3 packs of pins listed as 0.8mm instead. These pins are 8mm not 0.8mm so will be the 0.5mm you are looking for. I'll be using these size 5 pens a lot later on so I'm not returning them but…

I love these pens!

I first bought one of these Sakura Pigma Micron pens a few years ago while I was working at UCD Medical Center. The pen turned out to be abandoned and I picked it up because it writes very thin lines, with excellent black levels (in the case of the pen I have) and the fact that the ink is considered 'archival'. I have no idea how the original owner used the pen, but I have used it extensively for noting, drawing, highlighting, etc. After I retired it ended up in my home workshop and was used…
