There are two downsides when looking at this machine.1. Pre-filters are too expensive. These are just cheap furnace filters going for over $158 for 12.2. The clips that hold the pre-filter in place are so tight and oddly positioned that it's difficult to remove the old filter and install the new filter in the unit. I will buy another device, but not from this manufacturer. There are air purifiers with washable pre-filters. Even if they cost a little more money, it's worth it in the long run. The pre-filter only lasted three days and they only ship ONE with the unit. This device will cost more over time as you will need to change filters frequently.
