I just used the dog lanyard/lanyard and bought the matching harness set separately (( - ARING PET Dog Collar, Velvet Dog Harness, Tension Free Adjustable Dog Harness for White Dogs - because my pup with goes better with a harness than with a choker)) I took a ribbon from the back of the bow and tied it to the front of the harness and it held up perfectly all night. I was surprised at how well they all went together! She was beyond compare the sweetest guest of the wedding.
