(GE wants you to buy a $50 filter twice a year) If you are like me you don't use that much water thru this filter and GE is ripping us off.So. buy this filter, tape the electronic chip to it in the right place, mark your calendar to remind yourself to get another filter in 6 months, or sooner depending on your usage.
