FANTASTIC gift! good for me

I love salt lamps in general and this salt lamp, in particular, is the nicest one I've ever owned. The whole design of the lamp is unique. It has a metal base on which a heavy glass cylinder rests. SOME of the salt 'rocks' are encased inside the glass cylinder and some are to be placed in the depression on the top. The top looks like a snow-capped mountain and the bottom like a gorgeous crystal cave. Love the lighting options (so many!) and styles. My favorite is the 'fade' option, using the blue light. It is simply gorgeous. Definitely a statement piece and an incredible gift for any adult.

The salt rock can be fragile and may crack easily

Bought this to use as a nightlight and it is so nice! I’ve seen these before and a co worker suggested one to me. It gives off just enough light without being obnoxious. And the remote feature is great! I’ve never seen one with a remote before.
