The screen cover is crystal clear and fits so well you'll almost forget it's there. I was recently hiking and accidentally dropped my Garmin etrex 30x face down on rocks. When I picked it up, the screen showed high impact marks with radiant fragment lines (like a rock hitting a windshield). I was devastated because I love my GPSr and use it a lot. Back home, I removed the Tusita screen protector (which somehow magically came off in one piece rather than a bunch of glass shards) and the Garmin screen was perfectly fine, not even a scratch. The tread absorbs all impact and fall damage. My Garmin saved! :)
