I bought this set of razor sharpening stones. Since I feel that the quality of the accessories differs from that of the stones themselves, I will split this review into two parts. 1. Stones. The stones themselves are great. Despite the fact that each stone contains two grains, each individual grinding surface is clean and distinctly different from all others. Each grain is thick enough to serve the average user for years. That being said, my 8000 grit stone seemed to have some grit differences across the entire surface of the stone when I first opened it up. The grit difference was a bit uneven on the blade (see picture) but this variant worked itself well the first few times I used it so I didn't give it a star. 2. Accessories. A nice leather strap should be part of every knife sharpening tool bag, so I was really excited to see that this gem set comes with one. But the sling disappoints. The band itself isn't very high-quality leather, but you can still use it. One side is suede and the other is paper backed cardboard that ripped as soon as I bent it. The other accessory, the angle cutter, is made out of very cheap plastic and doesn't work very well with thicker knife blades; I tried the mount on one of my hunting knives and could barely attach it. The two leveling stones are amazing. Since I bought this set for stones and not accessories I decided to only give 1 star. I still think the stones are worth the money. Generally a good quality product, there is room for improvement.
