My mother burned small pieces of these papers when we lived in Schwetzingen, Germany in the 1960's. The smell is something that doesn't exist anymore except for those burning, fragrant pieces of paper. You can tear off a piece, light it with a match and let it burn for a few seconds or a minute. Can be deleted manually. The aroma is heady and sweet. It reminds me of another time, in a much more civilized world with values, etiquette surrounded by old world elegance. I highly recommend this product. This is a unique and highly sought after fragrance. Ah, memories.
