Description of Papier D'Armenie Traditional Burning Papers - Authentic 1 Book of 12 Sheets: Discover the Timeless Art of Aromatic Purification

The ancient room deodorizer, Papier d'Armenie (Paper of Armenia) has been trusted for more than one hundred years to quickly and naturally purify the air with a warm, familiar ambiance. After cooking or near the family pet, fold a single paper accordian-style, light an end and quickly blow it out allowing it to burn slowly. Use the terracotta holder especially made for this traditional and convenient incense alternative.

Not a fan, sent back

I couldn't stand her smell. It's a nice concept, but I find the smell awful and reminiscent of my grandmother's dry makeup from the 1930s.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Long waited

Best for books and drawers, won't burn

The aroma they give off is enough to satisfy in their natural state. In a flame, they burn quickly, and although the incense is pleasant, the smell of smoke outweighs it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Nice product. melodic light fragrance

Used according to the instructions for use. It was sent from France. The scent is mild and doesn't last long. Frankincense smells stronger. That is easier. I like a softer scent.

Very weak product

This happens when the paper strip is illuminated; It generates a lot of smoke to burn so fast and then the "smell" (which is like burning paper) doesn't last long. We have tried several times. I wrote to the supplier (in French) who was "annoyed" by my complaints and said I should have bought a different fragrance. no Not a good product. Je suis desole.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones

  • Only available in black

Old world chic and elegance

My mother burned small pieces of these papers when we lived in Schwetzingen, Germany in the 1960's. The smell is something that doesn't exist anymore except for those burning, fragrant pieces of paper. You can tear off a piece, light it with a match and let it burn for a few seconds or a minute. Can be deleted manually. The aroma is heady and sweet. It reminds me of another time, in a much more civilized world with values, etiquette surrounded by old world elegance. I highly recommend this…

Exactly what I wanted: Room fragrance

These little notes are a much more elegant way to freshen up a toilet than nasty sprays. I fold each page in half so that only half of each strip is ripped out (meaning I get six per page), fold them like an accordion, and just touch them with the tip of a lit match. If necessary, blow out the flame, put both in ceramic dishes and leave to stand. Yes, you can smell a burning match, a burning paper, because what did you just do? He touched the burning paper with a match to burn it. Hm. But a…

Wonderful oriental fragrance!

These papier d'Armenie work as they are supposed to: you tear a strip from the hilt, fold it like an accordion, then light one end, blow out the flame quickly and put it in an ashtray or another refractory surface. The paper will smolder for about 3 minutes releasing fragrant smoke, then it will go out on its own. The smoke is really pungent so it's best to leave the room while it's burning. Unburned paper smells not only of benzoin, but also of opoponax, vanilla and amber. In fact, the…

Not like before

I've been using this Papier d'Arménie paper burner since the early 80's. The best is the one I got every time I visited France for many years. The one pictured below is the one I recently purchased and received from Revain. You can see both wrappers, but more importantly, the burning paper is very different. If it's legit, they've definitely changed the formula, and not for the better. This "paper" has apparently been used in France since the 1970s. And it was great. It is a pity. The new one…
