I wasn't looking for airtight storage. My needs were transparent storage with wheels. I haven't had them long enough to determine durability, but these are not containers that can take a big hit as they are made of a flexible but strong plastic that can rip if hit very hard. In normal household use, these containers can withstand normal pressures and shocks. The four wheels also work well and feel sturdy. I bought two different sizes of containers and both fit my needs for the use they have. The snap closure on the handles on both long ends still works well. The lids don't snap into the sides, so if you overfill the containers there will be gaps in the sides. The only improvement I would wish for would be longer handles to make moving filled containers easier. I love these containers and would recommend them if they suit your needs.
