Does NOT work best in die cutting

Although the size matched my search, these metal plates would not cut scrapbook paper (or thin cardstock). After a lot of work I managed to cut some of the outer letters, I couldn't cut the letters in the middle. I'm disappointed because the letters on people's badges had to be for seat adjustments.
