The Tyler TDM-02 disc player came pretty quickly. So far the player is working fine. I have yet to figure out what the ESP flashing on the small screen while playing means. Maybe it indicates that the anti-skip feature is working? There is nothing in the manual about this. My big disappointment with this device is the state it is in. We immediately noticed that the box was re-glued. Red flag for us. Opened the box and found this device has been well used! Scrapes and scratches all over the body! I believe that the player can be a year or older. The basic design of the device shown on the box is the same, but the volume control is different. Everything is, but this is far from new. When we bought it, nothing said it was a refurbished device. I will continue to use it very carefully but will continue to search for something better. The device was twenty bucks so I guess if I live a year it'll be fine. I used high end headphones instead of earbuds so the sound was good. This is quite user friendly. But if you want to listen seriously, use headphones. I'm not sure if I would buy it again because of the condition. I'm sure Tyler is better overall!
