Not ideal for Parkinson's sufferers
This toilet product was purchased for an elderly woman with Parkinson's. While the plastic tip is malleable, the handle is made of a very hard plastic. It also extends to the back, but is awkward to use for those with limited mobility, unsteady arms, and unsteady hands. To make sure it wasn't user error, we asked her occupational therapist to rate her. Due to her unstable hand, it was recommended not to use her to avoid front-to-back spread of bacteria. We tried anyway, but she couldn't grab and maneuver properly.
