This food came highly recommended to me so I tried a 5.5 ounce can. So far we have only had 1 jar which was divided between 4 cats as an evening treat when it arrived. Even the jar seems to be of high quality, it was actually a bit difficult to open but the food seemed to slide out better than other jars. The consistency was a little unexpected, pie with gel on top. While I sometimes get the feeling that my cats don't like pie, it's easier to share among multiple cats than with others when you can't see how much you're scooping out. They didn't inhale like I thought, but they seemed busy. take a bite and take your time. Which I also like as it keeps them from eating too quickly - I feel like it's food as it has a thicker consistency than even other pasty products I've used. They didn't lick the bowls clean either, but over the course of the evening everything was eaten - and each cat seemed to have eaten a good portion - I have two cats that are quite picky and will leave - so I'm hoping the same for the other glasses. I have a cat that had crystals so I use special RX and otc UT food. I like that they have a high level of hydration. It will be good to add to my diet as RX fodder costs $$$. While I was looking for 5 0.5 oz (since I'm splitting jars between 3 cats) but I'm not sure I will or will use it if I split it between 4 cats because I'm afraid it could be too satisfying and I don't want to lose anything.
