I'm new to candle making so can't compare this color to others. I've also encountered some issues unrelated to the product, such as a container of melted wax tipping over onto the stovetop. But I'll do my best to share my first impressions and let you know if I have any major changes with more experience. The product was well packaged, all the small color bottles lined up in the box with no leaks. The bottles were relatively easy to open and there was a wide variety of colors. The vials are quite small and I had trouble figuring out how much wax to add, especially as the actual color can only be seen after the wax has set. (Experience will probably help with this.) The paints were certainly easy to use, and the paints I've used so far are of good quality. One of my preferences, although others may disagree, is that I would prefer less different colors and more. the amount of each. It's easy to mix colors when you want variety. As a new user I couldn't tell the difference between "Purple", "Grape Purple" and "Taro Purple" or if they would look good side by side in a layered candle. I'd rather just have a larger "purple" that I could alter by adding more red to one and blue to the other. But there's nothing wrong with that. Four stars so far. Might go up to five as I get more experience with them. Seems to be a good product.
