Review on REMINGTON Pro 1-inch to 1 ½-inch Conical Barrel Curling Wand with Advanced Thermal Technology, Purple, CI91XSB by Jill Williams

I had an old (pink) model of this curling iron which I loved but left at the hotel. I thought to update when replacing but it was a mistake. The design has a tragic flaw: the little piece of plastic at the tip that's supposed to help the iron sit properly on the countertop prevents you from pushing the wand down through the newly created curl. It will tangle with the plastic part so you have to twist your hair instead, which partially detangles your curls. Despite the same temperature setting, it doesn't get as hot as the pink model. That being said, the ergonomics of the grip, the tangle-free cord, and the protective case are all improvements, but NOT worth it. I have now ordered the old pink and I am satisfied except for this waste of money!
