Review on 📸 GODOX V860II-F 2.4G TTL Li-on Battery Camera Flash Speedlite for Fujifilm X-Series Cameras by Ameer Kobblewood

This is an excellent flash for use with Fujifilm cameras. (There are also versions for Canon, Nikon, Sony and Panasonic/Olympus) I have GFX, XT2 and X Pro 2, the light works in TTL and manual mode on all three cameras. It can be controlled from the camera or from the flash. When used as the master flash for the Godox X system, it controls off-camera lighting in TTL or manual mode. In Slave mode in the X System, the flash will receive on and off commands for the X System trigger, including those configured for cameras from other brands. This means that this Fujifilm flash can be controlled and triggered with the X system controller/trigger on Canon, Nikon, Sony or P/O cameras. The lithium-ion battery is ideal for event photography where the flash should run all day. It makes sense to carry a spare wheel, but it's probably not necessary. One thing to note about this flash, and the X system in general, is that devices need to be updated to the latest firmware available. This also applies to Fujifilm cameras. Previously, XT2, XPro2 and GFX had some TTL issues. They seem to be fixed in the latest firmware updates. I have used this flash at weddings and events as much as I have with the Sony A7RII and the Sony variant and previously with the Canon 5DII and Canon 600RT-EX system when it was first introduced. I added some pictures. . The water splash shot was taken with the V860IIf in M mode at 1/64 magnification. The low power setting results in a very short flash duration that stops the burst action. This was carried over from the XT-2. The people shots were taken during a CUE event organized for one of my clients. Here I used the V860IIf in TTL mode as a bounce flash.
