This was my first purchase of a Crocs product so I didn't know what to expect. I read many reviews to understand why they are so popular and decided to give it a try. One of the reviews I read said they run small so order one size up - I'm a men's size 11 so I ordered a size 12. Crocs arrived and they were TOO BIG by about a size - I returned them for a men's 11 and they fit perfectly so they are true to size, at least in my case. Otherwise, they differ from your normal shoes and take some getting used to. I'm medium wide and they're wide at the balls and toes, but oddly they don't fit too loosely on me - maybe that has to do with my high arch. They don't give me any pressure points, although I was initially concerned that they might be uncomfortable if my toes touch my toes while walking (they don't touch when standing on a flat surface), however wearing them for a few hours of gardening was not at all Problem. Without the strap folded back I either have to grab my toes or kind of shuffle while walking or they kind of shift on my feet but I adjusted quickly and didn't find that a problem either. They don't track boots, after all. They cushion the sole quite well, although good flip flops offer the same level of comfort. In general, I'm happy with it, but not in seventh heaven.
