Be sure to also buy a centering pin when purchasing this grip!

As a result, the Wera 8002 C colossus ratchet handle with 1/2 inch square drive with hammer is about twice as long. Very handy when you want to loosen very stubborn screws. In case you're wondering, there was a card that came with this grip that said you shouldn't use it to apply more than 600 Nm (440 ft-lbs) of torque. It's not an issue I expect to happen anytime soon, but maybe it's important to someone. The only thing I could fault with this handle is that it doesn't have a way to detach it from the ratchet. The handle extension has a small ball detent that fits into the ratchet and makes removal difficult. That means everything is held securely in place, but when it comes time to take it apart, the manual suggests using a nail or something similar to separate the two pieces. The Wera 8781 C 135mm accessory for the Koloss centering pin for the same ratchet comes with a nice little tool for loosening both accessories. The release tool even has a ring that allows it to hang from the carabiner that comes with the ratchet. If you want to get this grip but don't have a centering pin yet, you should bite the bullet and buy one right away.
