My last vacuum cleaner was many years ago. It was a huge block that needed to be connected. I missed what was suggested so when I saw this one from Hoover I had to try it! it's half the weight - it's going to be quite heavy and I don't know if there's a mess you need to fill the tanks. Unless there's a lot of water in the basement. In that case, you must throw it away as is. I like that this vacuum cleaner can be taken anywhere. Yes, it's bulky and those with hand issues may find this vacuum isn't for them. It is powered by a universal Hoover battery. This battery is used in several Hoover products. It works right out of the box, but takes about 4 hours or less to fully charge. This means, of course, that you connect the battery to the included charging cradle. There are a few flaws, but nothing major. 1) I think they may have included a hose attachment as the hose is short. This is of course probably due to the design - it is a portable device. However, the option would be nice, especially for car cleaning. 2) For a pocket computer, it has great power, but for obvious reasons it's not as powerful as the ones you plug into. 3) It comes with only one extra nozzle - a flat head. I would like a vacuum cleaner for tight spaces. Despite all of that, I think this quality Hoover vacuum is a great buy. The convenience of mobility is just one big factor. This will be a great gift for dear old dad on Father's Day or any other day for him. Even if he has one, he most likely doesn't have a cell phone! Great for a husband for the same reasons. I would love one of these at school! Get one for a new homeowner or a DIY enthusiast. Many uses. Possible cleaning needs etc. This is a handy vacuum cleaner that everyone should have on hand.
