What you see in the picture is not what you will get

First of all I would like to say that wood is not stabilized. The images appear to be there, but they are not. They don't say it's not stabilized anywhere and someone asked that question, so no, the wood isn't stabilized. Second, and probably also obvious, is that the images you're seeing are some sort of normal, fairly flaking maple, not what you'll get. This is what mine looked like, nothing I could use for a knife handle.
