I don't regret the purchase. He usually does exactly what he is supposed to do. This is exactly the component I need. it's strong this is metal It didn't work at all. It looks and feels like a high quality professional component. But sometimes it crashes and drops the screen. When I switch from one computer to another, one of the screens disappears. In this case, turning on and off, disconnecting and reconnecting, and sometimes even turning off, restarting and turning on again won't work. How can I make both screens recognized again for a specific machine? I do not know. It eventually works again and seems to do so randomly. Maybe it's Windows 7. Maybe it's my graphics card and not this KVM switch. I'm not sure. I will definitely buy it again and recommend it. Note, however, that either this device or perhaps a poorly configured computer (then it would be my fault, right?) sometimes causes a monitor to steam and not display. Perhaps if StarTech offered some software or drivers with this box that would make up for some of the issues you might have when switching displays the way it is. I would buy this again. Despite that one issue that comes up occasionally, this is a nice device and fits perfectly into my setup.
