The RCA ends do not snag the RCA inputs/outputs on the back of the CD player or amplifier, so the cables literally just fall off to a while. while driving due to road/bass vibrations i checked the resistance of the cables with a meter before installation but didn't even consider that the connections would be tight as i have never experienced this before i have been in the last 20 years installed several car radios. Finding this after gutting the car interior and running wires is very frustrating to say the least, sound quality is ok but I wouldn't recommend it for a flush or permanent install as the joints never need to be taped in order to to prevent splicing. separately.
