Doggie socks non-slip from above and below! Unbelievable! Fiction! Ordered large. Our dog pulls socks over the knee joint. Your dog's back height is approximately 24 inches. Our dog is 13 years old and has difficulty getting up on all four legs from a lying or sitting position. Her feet kept slipping everywhere. I put these socks on and she was able to grab the floor far enough to stand up. Also, their feet don't slip as much anymore. Socks don't solve all canine problems, but they have increased her mobility, reduced her stress, made her walk better and get up and down easier. The velcro straps came off very easily and very quickly but our dog really didn't need them as he has hairy paws! The top of the socks is like a human sock and they fit snugly around her legs, but we have a hairy dog. I highly recommend this crap! I ordered a pair to see how they work and I've ordered two more pairs. I wash them in the washing machine and just let them air dry.
