I bought this product to write on storage container labels with chalk. This is a smaller pen but it is well explained in the listing. I compared this pen to the one that came with my labels (another brand) and this pen was slightly lighter in ink although nothing deserves a lower rating. The downside of this product is that it doesn't wash/erase completely. I tried to erase what I wrote with this pen with just water and a paper towel. When that first attempt left marks, I took the advice of another review and used soap and water with a microfiber cloth. It still had inscriptions on it, clear enough to read, if a little lighter. The pen works great IF you never need to erase what you used it for. However, this is advertised as an erasable chalk pen and it certainly isn't. So 1 star.
