My chairs are slightly taller than the measurements listed on this product (24.5" back height) but they still fit without any cracking or noticeable chair color showing through. the clothing. The only thing you will notice is that the cover moves back a bit from the seat at the back of the seat. You don't really notice it when you sit down. These covers come in a great gray colour. They're nice to the touch and really help freshen up some old-fashioned, stained chairs. It was very easy to put them on over a chair. It really makes you want to try sofa covers next time! If you want to make sure it's fully hidden AND your chair is over the recommended measurements, you can see that the fabric is stretched enough to allow some of the color to show through. But even with my big chair I can't see any wood color underneath it. Looking back I can clearly see the shadow where the tree is inside the lid but I don't see any color. Hope that helps!
