This drive is used in an external USB enclosure to move large files from one computer to another and to store temporary backups for reinstallations. At this point, my impression is that this is a very good, inexpensive drive that performs well. It performs all the functions of a portable backup. Reading from HDD to this 256GB LEVEN, my write speed starts at 110MB/s and stabilizes between 78-85MB/s or 640MB/s when transferring large files through a USB 3.0 enclosure and 3.0 hub which I think is excellent given the limitations. and bottlenecks between two drives. The installation process took 30 seconds. A NOTICE. In Win-10, the drive will NOT show up in File Manager until it's initialized (not plug-n-play), so go to Disk Management and let Windows initialize it for use. You may be asked to select MBR or GPT. I used GPT but both work. However, if you want to use it as a Windows boot disk on an older, non-UEFI computer, you must use MBR. What's in the box? Drive and done. If you are building a PC or adding a drive to an existing system, you will need a SATA cable and hardware. Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with the performance and price per gigabyte. I've never heard of this company and the product reliability information is minimal as their website is up to date, but they do have a 3 year guarantee and I don't intend to keep any vital information about it so the risk is acceptable for my needs . .
