We currently use this laundry basket in the children's room, although it can also make a great toy basket that can hold a whole lot of things. The material is sewn in so it keeps its shape open and doesn't fall over. For something light, it stands on its own and holds its shape well. It's not a disk tray that looks flat when not full. The inside is waxed to the touch, so putting something like a damp towel inside won't get soggy. looks great in almost any room of the house - it goes well with classic or modern decor. Color - ivory, cream, cream (not snow-white). The handles are strong and sewn on. very good. It is portable and easy to carry to and from the laundry. I find it to be infinitely useful around the house and we will definitely be using it in many places for storage and organization for years to come. The price is unbeatable for such a large and well-made part. I would definitely consider buying more of these for other kids rooms and playrooms. I even think it would be a great gift bag alternative for a great gift (and a lot more reusable and useful). Overall I would recommend it.
