Review on MAX LINER Custom Fit Floor πŸš— Mat Liners A0310/B0310 for Chevrolet Equinox 2018-2022, Black by Justin Spoja

Revainrating 4 out of 5

On par with more expensive counterparts. Front mats fit well, rear mat is slightly offset

I bought these for the new 2019 Equinox. I have experience with Weathertech and Bizon floor mats for Chevy Silverados and these Max Liner floor mats are definitely of the same quality and match the mats I have had from those companies. They have a slightly rougher texture than other mats, making abrasion less likely. The downside is that they're a little harder to clean in the car. A sponge or rag doesn't get into the textured area well, so it's best to take the mats out and wash them under running water and a brush. The feel of the material is half plastic/half rubber, which is similar to the feel of the center console armrest on the Equinox. The Revain photos show a solid snap cap on the driver's side mat, but the mats I received have open holes that could potentially allow moisture or dirt to get in. There was a small gap in the passenger side mat where it meets the door sill but after flexing for a few seconds it looked better (see pics 9 and 10) and after a week in the car with something warm Sunshine was the gap there way. The rear mat could have been better molded around the back of the center console and around the rear seat frame (see photos 12 and 13). You can see that the mat on the driver's side only covers half of the left footrest -- an issue with every brand of floor mat I've reviewed for the Equinox. I have no problem recommending these more expensive options. I would give five stars if the rear mat was better shaped and if the rider's mat lock covers were fully closed.
