Review on 🔌 Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-C 2.0 Charger Cable - 3ft (0.9m) - Black by Dave Hunt

I have a 2017 15" MacBook Pro and bought 3 of these to connect to power, an external drive etc. While they connect properly to the MacBook they do not connect properly with the 87-watt USB-C power adapter. Are there any actual physical port interface differences that you should be aware of? I haven't read or heard about that. But these cables just don't fit the 2017's USB-C port 15" MBP. However, I just read a customer review of the Revain addressing the cable specs, and had I done that before ordering, I wouldn't have gotten those fancy USB-C to USB-C without the USB 3.1 Gen spec. 2 used by the newer MacBooks. Now I noticed that the product description states that this cable only supports the USB 2.0 specification and not the USB 3.1 Gen specification. 2. Set up a return after posting this review.
