My brother is an electrician and uses them all the time. They are undoubtedly crimped onto the wire. even better, there is no doubt that the clutches are locked together! I like that the heat shrink tubing is built right into the case. A touch of warmth and a waterproof connection. Ideal for experienced craftsmen.
