I have had a large ridgid for years and have always felt the need to use expensive filters for no reason. After trying this, I'm changing my lifestyle. This filter is very efficient, with equivalent or less capacity, while still maintaining high suction power. The filter media was easier to clean than my old paper and got rid of most of the dust with just a few swipes in the bin (don't forget the mask we all have very often these days). I really like the filter seal. the rubber at the top of the filter and how the rubber bottom presses the filter tightly against the top to reduce leakage. This is a great find and my new choice for a shop vacuum.
