October 2019: Purchased this product to cover large screens for old, large insulated windows in an apartment (30" x 50") . Was a little surprised it's not the shrink type I've used for interiors before. But the product was easy to install (took me about 15 minutes per screen), was able to stretch the folds slightly, and had no problems with the plastic unrolling/peeling off. Double-sided tape was actually enough for 3 of my windows, for two plastic windows. I have yet to make some larger windows, had to buy a pack of each with the plastic on the side. I did my best to attach the tape to the window (several thumb presses on the screen frame) and also the plastic once it was attached to the tape. If he survives, he should do a good job of creating a second vapor barrier and reducing drafts. May 2020: Plastic removed this afternoon. First, all six plastic tarps from the New England winter were intact. Second, removing the plastic wasn't easy - the plastic peeled off the tape easily. The tape needed a little encouragement, but overall it came off the aluminum frame completely with no sticky residue. I'm a bit shocked at how frivolous the removal was. I'm a fan for life!
