Many advantages
The neck hole is a continuous loop through which the cat's head must be put. The chest and back straps attach to the neck loop and snap on either side. Our cat didn't like having her head pierced. I'm sure the clawed paws could have been stiffer, the paws stayed on the ground the entire time. Surprisingly easy and Lilly made no fuss.
