Good idea, looks nice for my coffee shop but has its own problems of use. I bought 2, one for white sugar and one for raw sugar. I didn't buy it for the metering feature but for the clean looks and one button sugar release. So if you care about the metering feature in terms of diet accuracy etc, I'm not sure these are accurate measurements. I keep a measure of 1/2 teaspoon white sugar and 1 teaspoon raw sugar as its granules are much larger. If you want this to constantly change between dimensions then this product is not for you as it is not an easy swap between dimensions. To do this, you need to open the device. Also, the product instructions suck, and I started looking online for videos on how to change measuring cups. Tip: The little black opening handles actually need to come out for the handle to open so you can switch measuring cups. Without trying to use this thing your first button press will give you a shot of sugar maybe (50/50 shots) to get a second shot of sugar after each shot after that it gets less and less. Why, because the sugar gets stuck and prevents the pen from measuring the sugar correctly. So the tip or tweak we found is that after using the button press, turn the product completely upside down, then back and then press the button again to dispense the full amount of the measured sugar. Turning the dispenser upside down will release the sugar where the handle is, allowing the sugar to be dispensed correctly back into the cup. Since we made this small change, the product is now operational and manageable. I found this out after buying the first one and trying it out for a week before ordering another one for our white sugar. This small workflow adjustment doesn't bother me or my husband, but it might bother others. We thought it was a good compromise between a cheap product and a nice clean look. Just make sure the top of the dispenser is in the closed position. The top has a spray hole and a full pouring hole, and is also fully enclosed. The spray holes are suitable for white sugar, while raw sugar requires a little more shaking as the granules are larger. I wouldn't say the top sprinkling holes are perfect for raw sugar without the need for a shake or vigorous shaking, but the pouring hole is fine for raw sugar. It seems a little cheap and not sure if the top cap will stay secure after constantly opening it to pour in the sugar. But will post an update message if it goes down.
