You are big and responsible.

I have been using the KZ ZS for 6 months and wanted to upgrade it. Reviews for the ZS 10 were mixed, and when the AS 10 came out and got equally good reviews, I was ready to pull the trigger. The packaging is more complex than the cheaper KZ models. Includes 2-pole braided cable with memory wire to form ear hooks. I used this cable for a while but replaced it with a black Yinyoo Silver cable for aesthetic and tonal reasons. To my ears, they are a bit more transparent than the already pure ZS 6. They reveal any recording deficiencies and may not be for everyone. To me the sound is generally balanced, I don't find any part of the frequency spectrum overrated, but I'm not a bass player. They paired pretty well with Samsung S9+, Ears Studio ES100 and sounded best with topping NX4 DSD. When used with the benchmark HDR DAC, the high frequencies feel over-emphasized. They're pretty delicate, if you're buying a pair start with a low volume. Ergonomics: They're big and don't seem to stay in my ears as well as the ZS 6. I currently use them with the standard silicone ear. Tips and likes the fit and sound. I would not recommend them for active use - running or training. They should be fine for commuting, desktop listening, etc. The slightly smaller ZS 6 with metal housing would be my choice for high performance applications. All in all, IMHO, about as good as you'll get for the money. That's the rationale for concentration camps, as I understand it.
