I have been using Legion Athletics protein powders for several years and they may be the only supplement company that puts the consumer first, not the money. I alternated between 100% natural Miscellar Casein and Pro Jym for PM protein just before bed to help keep me feeling full while I slept, as there is evidence that a slow digesting pre-bedtime protein supports protein synthesis during sleep. When I heard that Legion was working on a mixed casein protein powder, I knew another great product was in store for me. I bought this and the new Mint Chocolate Whey+ together. Oddly enough, it tastes more like dark chocolate with 80% cacao than mint chocolate. At least for me. Legion Casein Protein Powder is my new bedtime protein. The taste of milk chocolate lives up to its name. I add three ice cubes and cinnamon to my smoothie using a Ninja blender and a cup of Fairlife skim milk. At 110 calories for milk chocolate and 120 for vanilla, this is the lowest calorie, lean protein powder you will find. It's low carb, virtually no fat, only 1g sugar, 24g protein, natural flavor and sweetener, NO artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors, cheap fillers or other unwanted junk. Uh, Legion doesn't go that route. My only complaint is that the powder has a slightly chalky texture, but again, it doesn't contain any fillers. I'm sure the Legion will fix this issue if they decide to change the formula. Plus solid mixed casein powder. Will definitely be getting this again and at 5 lbs. bath as soon as it is available. I'm looking forward to the new taste of this protein. The taste of s'mores, cinnamon buns, even the taste of gingerbread for the holidays would be nice in the future. I look forward to the protein bar made by Legion. If you train hard and eat well, buy Legion products. You will not be disappointed. It might be a bit more expensive, but it's well spent.
