Unfortunately they are not fully hypoallergenic as advertised. My daughter is allergic to many metals so we need hypoallergenic earrings. If we don't wear them after a few weeks, their body will reject them and the piercing will often close up while it heals. This just happened to us with these earrings which is very upsetting for them as they said they were hypoallergenic. So far the only earrings she has had no problem with have come from piercing shops but we wanted to try these because she liked them but unfortunately they weren't really hypoallergenic. They didn't return them, we just sold them, but I thought I'd warn any other moms who have kids with metal sensitivities.
