Review on Convenient and Versatile: Malone Downloader Folding J-Style 🚗 Universal Car Rack Kayak Carrier with Bow and Stern Lines by Rip Twin

The item shown does not match the model we received. A year ago we bought the model pictured elsewhere for our first kayak. This model works great. After we bought a second kayak, we needed another porter. So I assumed we bought the same model but got a slightly different one. After checking both boxes, neither box has a date, so it's not clear which model is the newest. The model numbers are the same. Two things about cases recently purchased from Revain: the handle locks are different and we had a few issues unlocking them. The black rails at the top of the handlebars, through which the red nylon straps run for securing and anchoring, are terrible. Both guides snap into place (and disengage if you don't want them to), rather than being bolted onto the top bars like our first model. So frustrating and very unsafe trying to attach the red straps. I wonder if our latest purchase is an old version that's gathering dust because the rack set we bought last year is easier and safer to use.
