I haven't used this yet other than when the power went out, but this light seems like it will be very useful for both our boat and camping. You can use it like a lantern and also like a flashlight. It's small enough that it's not awkward to use it like a flashlight.It also has a red light that can both flash and be on steadily, so that will be useful for hanging on the outside of the boat at night when we are anchored up.The light seems like it will be durable, although we have yet to put it to the test, and I don't know what the battery length will be. Anyway, we are very happy with this purchase so far.
